General: In general our offers such as recommend a friend, virgin voucher, or those received via a text message are not available on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. We reserve the right to withdraw an offer/discount at any time without notice and for any reason. Offers cannot be combined. For example, a Wiped-out Wednesday cannot be combined with a concession. If you have received a text message offer/discount please let us know at the time of booking as this is subject to availability. No offers/discounts can be used in December.
Loyalty Points: Receive one point for every £1 spent at Arcana on services only. For every 250 points you may receive £10 off your bill. They must be redeemed at time of payment and deducted from a salon bill. Minimum total bill of £20 is required. Points cannot be redeemed between 1st December – 2nd January. Rewards cannot be presented in the form of a ‘Gift Certificate.’ Points cannot be shared or gifted to others and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or promotion on the same day. Additionally no more than one loyalty reward can be redeemed per visit.
Virgin Voucher: Offer valid to clients who have not visited the salon before, or those who have not visited within 18 months. Not valid on products or specialist services conducted by visiting clinicians. Voucher must be presented at time of payment. Must refer to terms and conditions on voucher. Not valid on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Mates Rates: Upon introduction the ‘new client’ must produce the mate’s rates voucher (which can be found on our website) to benefit from the 25% reduction. No discount will be given retrospectively if a voucher is produced at a later date. The initial 25% off as a ‘new client’ will be applied to ALL full price services attended on the first visit, excluding offers, promotions, packages, retail or specialist clinics/those services provided by self-employed clinicians. The ‘thank you’ voucher for the ‘existing client’ cannot be redeemed on the same day as the ‘introductory’ discount given to the ‘new client’. The ‘thank you’ voucher will allow the ‘existing client’ to enjoy 25% off a similar service within three months of the 'new client' visit (excluding offers, promotions, packages and retail or specialist clinics). For example where an ‘introduced client’ simply has a cut only, the existing client will receive 25% off a cut only.
Graduate Discounts: Discounts are offered with our ‘graduate stylists’ that are within six months to one year of graduating. 20% will be applied to all full priced services at the time of payment. No other discounts apply in conjunction with this offer, but any greater discount for example ‘concessions’ discount will be applied in its place.
Pick & Mix Offer: Payment is required at the time of booking. Select four services across three categories. All treatments are restricted to 30mins. A patch test is required for all tinting services. Upgrade any service from 30 to 60 minutes for an additional £15 per service. Cancellations made within 12 hours of the appointment will be charged a 50% cancellation fee without exception. In the event of a ‘no show’ 50% of the pre-payment will be taken as way of compensation.
Off-Peak Spa Day: Payment is required at the time of booking. Any further treatments are charged at £15 per 30 minute service. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged a 50% cancellation fee without exception. Where we are forced to cancel appointments due to staff sickness etc, alternative dates will be provided but no compensation will be offered. We reserve the right to amend, alter or cancel this promotion at any time. Individual treatments within the package are non-transferable, carry no individual value for exclusion and cannot be altered for other services.
In the event of a ‘no show’ 50% of the pre-payment will be taken as way of compensation.
Wiped-out Wednesday: Select any two of the following treatments for £30. Includes: Hot Stone Massage; Indian Head Massage; Hopi Ear Candle; Reflexology; Deep Tissue Massage; Aromatherapy; Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage; Holistic Facial.
Friday Blow-dry: Applies to Fridays only. Up to 45mins blow-dry/styling for £15. A £5 surcharge will be applied to each 15 minutes thereafter. Select stylists only.
Birthday Text Message: Receive £10 off a massage or facial within 7 days of receiving the text message. Excludes other offers and discounts. Offer must be presented at the time of payment.
Children’s aged between 0-10 years will receive 50% discount. Children’s aged between 11-14 years will receive 25% discount. This applies to female hairdressing Monday to Friday 09:00-18:00
Friends & Family of Arcana staff will receive 20% discount which will cease 6 weeks after staff members leave Arcana.
Keyworkers receive 10% discount. A form of work identification must be presented at the time of payment for the discount to be applied.
OAP (retired) persons will receive 20% discount on a Monday to Friday up until 3pm.
All concessions are based on full priced services only, cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers and (unless otherwsie stated) only valid Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00.
Text Message Offers: From time to time we might send text messages to our clients to offer discounts or special offers. These cannot be combined with any other offers and are only available Monday to Thursday. Offer must be mentioned at the time of booking. Where a client has a duplicate record, it is possible for an offer to be sent in error. Unfortunately, we cannot honour such offers and reserve the right to decline them at any time. All text messages are non-transferable and reserved for the recipient only. We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause.
Last Minute Offers/Trade Days: On occasion Arcana Salon may make a last minute offer or request models for a trade day. Due to the nature of these offers, they are subject to availability, appointment times or specific stylists. They may be withdrawn at late notice (for example, if a trade day stylists does not attend the trade day). No reschedules will be permitted. I.e. As a pre-booked booked client would have benefited from a reserved time slot, it is not permitted to change an appointment within 7 days to take advantage of a last minute offer.
VIP Club Offers: Our VIP Club is open to those who sign up on this page. You must have signed up before the month starts to get the monthly offer. All offers are subject to certain conditions (e.g. minimum spend, combined with another service etc.). Only while stocks last, we cannot always guarantee stock will be available. First come, first serve. Must quote the code in the VIP Offer email/text message or show the email or text message when checking out.
Cancellation Charges: Cancellations, no-shows and late reschedules cost our business dearly and negatively affect other clients and staff. Failure to show for an appointment; late cancellations (less than 24hrs notice); or reschedules (within 24hrs) will be subject to a cancellation fee. For appointments less than £50 in value this will be £10, for appointments above £50 a charge of £15 will be applied, and for appointments of £100 or more in value a fee of £20 will be charged. Where a deposit has/should have been paid (e.g. Balayage/Ombre, smoothing treatments etc.) the full deposit will be charged. These cancellation fees can be waived at the sole discretion of the salon in exceptional circumstances.
